Nicholas Hely Hutchinson
NEW - The Lord Mayor's Show - Limited edition print
A set of six limited edition prints showing the English landscape as seen by the distinguished Dorset artist - “On a much deeper level Hely Hutchinson uses his paintings to convey his own intensly individual interpretation of the landscape he has observed.”
Born in 1955, Nicholas Hely Hutchinson studied at St. Martins School of Art and Bristol Polytechnic (Fine Art).
Since his first one-man exhibition in 1984 Nicholas has exhibited consistently in London, Dublin and Hong Kong. His paintings have increasingly become more in demand and now feature in the Government Art Collection, Barbican Centre and Unilever, as well as in a number of private collections.
Nicholas lives in the heart of Dorset with his wife and two children. He gets much of his inspiration from the surrounding countryside and the coast. He also travels to some of his favourite places to paint - particularly Venice, Paris, the West of Ireland and Cornwall.
